Scan. Review. Clean.

Review
See names, sizes and locations before acting.
Clean
Move the items you selected to the Trash.
Safe by design
A cleaner you can trust with your files.
A cleaning app touches your data, so it should earn that. MacGlint is built around four principles.
Trash only
Selected items are moved to the Trash, so you can put them back.
Stays on your Mac
Your files, file names and scan results stay on your Mac.
List before delete
You see every item and its location before anything is removed.
Protected folders
Important system and personal locations are kept out of cleaning.
Backups are still recommended before any major cleanup. When you sign in, the app sends limited account and device details, see the privacy page.
FAQ
Questions, answered plainly.
Is MacGlint safe?
MacGlint moves selected items to the Trash instead of deleting them permanently, lists every item before removal and keeps protected folders out of cleaning. Still, no cleaning tool replaces a backup, so back up your Mac before a big clean.
Does MacGlint send my files anywhere?
No. Your files, file names and scan results stay on your Mac. When you sign in, the app sends your email address, an anonymous device hash, the app version and your macOS version. This website uses no cookies and no analytics. Details are on the privacy page.
What happens when the trial ends?
The 14-day trial gives you the full app. After it, MacGlint returns to the Free plan: scans keep working and you can remove up to 1 GB at a time. Pro lifts that limit.
Is scanning free?
Yes. Scanning is unlimited on the Free plan.
What does the 1 GB Free-plan limit mean?
On the Free plan, the files you remove in a single clean can add up to 1 GB. You can still scan as much as you like.
Which Macs are supported?
Planned: macOS 15 and later, on Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.
Can I recover files after cleaning?
Selected items are moved to the Trash. Open the Trash in Finder and choose Put Back, unless you have emptied it.
